// Nutella cookies
Sweet and crunchy
If you like Nutella and chocolate, these cookies will delight you and become your favorites!!!
Here's why... they are made with chunks of dark chocolate and milk chocolate and... in the center they are filled with Nutella 😋 and... so you never run out of Nutella 😉 a Nutella biscuit on top makes them even more amazing 😱❤️. Here's the recipe so you can try it!! 🌰🍫❤️
Ingredients (12 cookies of approx. 85g)

- 🍪200g unsalted butter
- 🍪185g brown sugar for baking
- 🍪85g egg
- 🍪1 tsp vanilla extract
- 🍪400g 0000 flour or all-purpose flour
- 🍪15g baking powder
- 🍪5g baking soda
- 🍪90g chopped dark chocolate
- 🍪90g chopped milk chocolate
- 🍪Nutella (for filling the cookies)
- 🍪Nutella biscuits (to place on top of each cookie)
Elaboration
- 🌰In a bowl, beat the butter, add the sugar, and beat until combined
- 🍫Add the vanilla extract and egg, continue beating
- 🌰Add the flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Mix and beat until a cookie dough forms (it will be a lumpy dough)
- 🍫Knead the dough with your hands until uniform
- 🌰Add the chopped chocolates
- 🍫Form dough balls of approx. 85g, split them in half with your hands. Make a small hole in the center of one half and place a teaspoon of Nutella. Join the two halves and roll to make firm balls
- 🌰Wrap the cookie balls in plastic wrap and freeze for about 30 minutes or refrigerate for 1 hour

- 🍫Preheat the oven to 170 °C
- 🌰Remove cookies from freezer/refrigerator, unwrap, and place them on a baking tray with parchment paper (I bake 4–5 cookies per batch)
- 🍫Bake the cookies for 14 minutes at 170 °C (top and bottom heat). At 11 minutes, open the oven, place the Nutella biscuits in the center of each cookie, and bake the remaining 3 minutes
- 🌰Once baked, let them cool on the tray for 5–10 minutes and transfer to a cooling rack

Notes
- I added the Nutella biscuits at the end of baking because they brown too much if baked the entire time. If you like golden, crunchier cookies, just place the Nutella biscuits on top of each ball, attached with a little Nutella, at the beginning of baking
