The best reward is seeing a smile on their faces

I am Romina Rodríguez, I am 37 years old and I live in Madrid but I was born in Tancacha, in a small town in Córdoba, Argentina. I am a cook and pastry chef, but currently I do not exercise the profession as such in the world of work. My goal with this blog is to be able to pass on some of my knowledge and recipes so that you can also make your own sweets at home whenever you want!

I love to cook but, as you can see on my instagram, I love making cakes and any sweet that comes to mind. I love making my friends and their children happy with every cake I make for them. I love seeing their faces, for me it is the greatest satisfaction and what I feel is priceless

I discovered my passion for pastry when I was 8 years old! Back then I was a pretty rebellious girl, with discipline problems. I had to be busy, and the best option was baking classes and other disciplines. At first I admit that I didn't like it, but then I became so passionate that over the years, although I started several careers, I ended up studying Kitchen Management and Restaurant Services Management. In these last two years I used a lot of time to practice and learn new techniques, and thus improve a little more every day. As in any profession you always have to innovate, try to continue learning and I love that. Always learning new and fun things

Almost two years ago I opened my instagram profile and I honestly admit that I thought that no one would like it and that it would be a failure, not that it's Wowww hahaha!! But with the support of the people who follow me today I feel super happy and grateful, and that's why I decided to open this blog and be able to publish here more recipes and tricks that I've learned over the years!

My love for confectionery is infinite and I would not change it for anything, because it is my profession, it is what I love to do and I wish or hope to always love it
