// Homemade cherry jam

Fresh and natural

Every year I make cherry jam, but this time I made it with a little help ☺️, I used the new gelling agent to make jam from Dr. Oetker. I assure you that it is great, it does not alter the flavor at all, which is a very important point, it is easy to use and the jam is ideally thick and delicious 😋.

I hope you enjoy the recipe 😍🤗❤️

    🍒Put all the ingredients in a saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring frequently.
    🍒When the cherries are tender (10 min of cooking), remove half or a little less, and the rest continue cooking for 5 more min
    🍒Remove from the heat, mash a little with the blender and mix with the reserved whole cherries.

    🍒Save in glass jars 🫙, which must be clean and dry. Cover well, turn around for about 10 minutes, turn again to cool and finish creating a vacuum.

Note

    ✍️When you remove the jam from the heat it will seem that it is not thick, but when it finishes cooling it will thicken
    ✍️It is optional to separate whole cherries after 10 minutes of cooking, I like the whole cherries to be noticeable a little, but it is up to taste
    ✍️To remove the stone from the cherry and leave it whole, you can use a metal or hard plastic straw. With the straw you squeeze and the stone comes out
